La réouverture de l’enquête sur l’affaire Michaela Harte franchira une nouvelle étape avec le début de l’interrogatoire des premiers témoins prévu vers la fin de cette semaine. Les enquêteurs n’ont jusqu’ici pas encore complété les prélèvements d’ADN sur plusieurs employés de l’ex-hôtel Legends et cet exercice se poursuivra dans les heures qui suivent selon nos informations.

Affaire Michaela Harte : test d’ADN pour 465 employés de l’ancien hôtel Legends

La réouverture de l’enquête sur le meurtre de Michaela Harte démarre officiellement ce jeudi. La Special Squad se rend à l’ex-hôtel Legends où 465 employés devront se soumettre à un test d’ADN même si seulement 216 salariés étaient de service le jour du drame. Leurs empreintes seront aussi prélevées. Les échantillons seront ensuite analysés au Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL)....

L’exhumation du corps de Michaela Harte a été évoquée dans la presse irlandaise. Cela, afin de prélever de nouveaux éléments d’ADN. D’ailleurs, un ex-enquêteur irlandais a émis ce souhait afin de relancer l’enquête. Cependant, cette requête doit au préalable avoir l’approbation des proches de la défunte....

You’d need a heart of stone not to feel for the family of Michaela McAreavey. They have behaved with admirable restraint under the most distressing of circumstances. Although “inconsolable”, and understandably so, they have maintained their silent dignity. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of a substantial section of the public, who have been vociferous, and increasingly indiscriminate, in their outrage....
