La directrice générale du Fonds monétaire international (FMI), Christine Lagarde, qui est à Maurice en ce moment, a félicité l’économie mauricienne qui, selon elle, a réussi d’une façon remarquable en dépit des conditions économiques mondiales défavorables. Elle a fait part de son appréciation de la stratégie mise en place par le gouvernement à consolider davantage l’économie mauricienne.

Maurice s’est classé 43e sur 176 pays, avec un score de 57 points sur 100. Il améliore ainsi l’intégrité de son secteur public, vu que certains pays tels que l’Afrique du Sud (69e), la Chine (80e) et l’Inde (94e) sont moins bien classés. Le pays a amélioré son score par rapport à l’année dernière - de trois rangs, plus précisément. En 2011, il était classé à la 46e place avec un score de 5.1 sur 10....
