“There is not usurpation in our view so shouldn’t have been used as reason
to expel Mr. Gumani from the Federation”, écrit Miguel Carlo Monge,
Membership Relations Manager de l’IPC. Ce membre de l’instance
internationale a appris l’expulsion de Prakash Gumani dans _Le Matinal_.
“Now, we have learned from the newspaper _Le Matinal_ that Mr. Gumani has been
sacked from PHYSFED without due process. One of the reasons for his ejection is
the usurpation of the position of President of MNPC.”
Dans la même missive il apporte des précisions sur la sélection faite par le
MNPC pour les Jeux du Commonwealth. “It is important to point out that the
entry form of Athletes in Paralympic games must be signed by the NPC, so it is
the NPC who has the final saying regarding athletes”.
La PHYSFED avait alerté l’IPC sur ces deux sujets. Selon elle, l’élection
de Prakash Gumani et la constitution de la sélection – quatre athlètes et
deux entraîneurs pour les Jeux du Commonwealth – avait été faite d’une
façon illégale.
