Le contrat de l’ancien conseiller du Premier ministre, Jean Suzanne, le nombre
de personnes recrutées par la Maison de la Radiotélévision dans le cadre de
l’ouverture de son nouveau quartier général, le nombre de ressortissants
français arrêtés à l’aéroport par rapport au trafic du Subutex, le nombre
de cas de drogue qu’a traités le bureau Drug Assets Forfeiture, la création
d’une télévision privée, les recommandations du High Powered Committee sur
les maisons des jeux sont quelques-unes des interpellations adressées au chef
du gouvernement.
Le député Rajesh Bhagwan veut savoir du vice-Premier ministre et ministre des
Finances Pravind Jugnauth si Sunil Dowarkasing a été nommé comme Senior
Adviser au sein du ministère. Le député Alan Ganoo veut connaître la
situation en ce qui concerne le stock de riz. Sa question est adressée au
ministre de l’Industrie et du Commerce Showkutally Soodhun.
La député Françoise Labelle interpellera, de son côté, le ministre de la
Fonction publique Ashit Gungah sur le nombre de fonctionnaires ayant déjà
atteint l’âge de 60 ans et qui sont toujours en poste.
Le député Steve Obeegadoo interpellera le Premier ministre sur la nécessité
d’avoir une télévision privée.
Le libellé de la question est comme suit : “To ask the Prime minister
whether, in order de to promote freedom of information founded on a diverse and
democratic media, government will renounce state monopoly over television;
commit to opening up the airwaves and allow for private television broadcasting,
and if not why not”.
Le député Kavidas Ramano interpellera le Premier ministre sur les conclusions
du High Powered Committee sur les maisons de jeux. Le libellé de la question
est comme suit : “To ask the Prime minister whether in regard to the
proliferation of casinos/gaming houses and loto outlets will for the benefit of
the house state (i) when the High Powered Committee tend to publicize its
findings and recommendations (ii) whether government intend to amend law so as
to restrict/ban all enlistment relating to gaming and gambling houses”.
Le député Raffick Sorefan s’intéresse de son côté à l’affaire
Medpoint. Il veut savoir du ministre des Infrastructures publiques Anil Bachoo
les détails des échanges de correspondances entre le ministère des
Infrastructures publiques et le ministère de la Santé.
La question est comme suit : “Whether in regard to the valuation of the
Medpoint Clinic, he will state (a) the involvment of his Quantity Surveying
Division & the Architectural Division in the project (b) if there were any
correspondences from the Ministry of Health to his Ministry, if yes, to table
the same (c) if there was any site visit of officers from the Ministry at the
request of the Ministry of Health, if yes, the outcome thereof (d) if he still
maintains, as per his communiqué that, if has neither been a party to, nor in
any manner involved in the procurement of the services of Hooloomann &
Associates, nor has it been involved in any other procurement exercise regarding
the national Geriatric Hospital”.
Le député Reza Uteem interpellera de son côté le ministre de l’Industrie
et du Commerce sur les pertes encourues par la State Trading Corporation depuis
2006 par rapport aux produits pétroliers.
